In 2003 a new documentary exhibition was opened which reflects the latest historical research on the history of the Dachau concentration camp. The catalog is comprised of two parts: a book containing the most important and vovid photos and documents from the new exhibition, and a CD encompassing all the texts and documents in the exhibition. The catalog also presents four essays:
